What Home Means to Me

My family and I live in this beautiful bungalow brick house. We have lived here since I was 2 years old so this house has been my home for 9 years now. I know every single room and I know every single place in this house. We are lucky because not everybody in the world has a house. And we are lucky to have a house because it provides shelter, warmth, and comfort. Some live on the street and some live in old abandoned houses in forests. And those people don’t have a place to call their safe place or house. They don’t have any good food or water either. So that’s why we donate. So people can have good stuff like all of us. We got our dog Fallon when I was about 7. We still have this precious puppy Fallon today and we love her so much. But she does not like me very much. She always makes a mess in our hallway with all her stuffed animals. She even has some of my stuffed animals hidden in her toy bin/bed. Fallon makes our home a home because if we didn’t have her we would be very bored because we would not have Fallon to play with. I have the best parents EVER and I don’t know what I would do without my mom and my dad. My mom bakes awesome amazing dinners every single night and if we did not have good dinners it would not feel like a home because every house has good food. And also in the winter my dad and I always go sledding on the weekend and it is really fun. Sometimes we even go to the schoolyard and sled after I am done with my dinner and I am done with my homework of course. And if we did not go sledding we would be very bored. And this winter is really special because my mom is coming outside and she never comes outside in the winter. Every other winter she is in hibernation mode because she HATES the cold. She’s almost like a bear hibernating in their cave! This house is really special to me because my family and I live all together and we are very happy we live here because we get shelter, food warmth and most importantly we have each other. And without this house, I don’t know what we would do.
