What home means to me

My home is where my family and I roam our forests,
and as trees whisper,
they sound like a tongue twister.
Surrounded with acres of nature,
the love spreads spreads.
Above all of our fights and cries,
our home will bring surprises,
but I reassure,
we are secure in our home.

My home is where I can have a calm and peaceful sleep, without getting fretful about a single creep.
I can feel snug knowing my parents are near,
so I need not fear.

My home is special to me,
one happy memory is when we decorate the Christmas tree.
When my parents tuck me in tight they whisper good night I am not in fright, about a single sight.

My home is where I’m safe and sound with love around,
knowing that my family is here.
I warm my face by the fireplace and have hot cocoa in the cold winter afternoon after frolicing outside with my family.
