H-O-M-E

H-O-M-E a place that I know.
H-O-M-E a place that I grow.
A home can be from near or far,
But home is home wherever you are.
A home can be filled with pride
Filled with love in and outside.

H-O-M-E where memories are made.
H-O-M-E where the light never fades.
The place that you feel safe and sound,
Where you’re never lost wandering around.
The place that you feel nice and warm
And gives you shelter from frightful storms.

H-O-M-E can be a place to play.
H-O-M-E can be a place to stay.
Somewhere that is always bright,
Even if you’re scared at night.
Somewhere that you always see,
The people you love, your family.

H-O-M-E may be a place to eat.
H-O-M-E may be a place to greet.
Canada my native land
It’s where I live and where I stand.
A home for people from everywhere
Where all are welcome and all care.

H-O-M-E is the place that I sleep.
H-O-M-E is where no monsters creep.
Rain and snow, may rage outside,
But a home can keep you safe inside.
A place where friends can come to play,
That I’ll remember, the rest of my days.
