When I Think Of Home

When I Think Of Home
By Jack

When I think of home,

I think of the sweet smell of an orange I peel.

Some people don’t have homes, it’s not a joke, it’s real.

You can give them a chance, a small donation,

It’s nice, it’s kind, it’ll help our nation.

Home is a place I go after school.

When I think of it, I think of it as a tool,

To be myself and a place for comfort.

Home is fun and all that sort.

Home is a place to go when it’s stormy outside,

It’s a place to cry, feel angry and hide.

A smile on my parent’s faces is my favourite thing to see.

Home is a place to sit down and have a cup of tea.
