When I Think of Home…

When I think of home I think of my family and my house. I think of my family that loves me. It is a place I come to after a busy day at school. It is a place where we gather to make memories. A home is not just a shelter. It is spending time with the people you love and the people who love you back. A home is a safe place where I can express myself without being judged. A home is a shelter that we live in. I feel sad for the people who don’t have homes. But I am grateful that I have a home and a family. I hope one day everybody will get a home. A home is not built by bricks or wood, but with the bond of a family. I feel safe in my mother’s arms and I hope for others to feel safe in a home with someone to give them love and safety too.
