What it’s like for those without a home

Home is a place where it’s warm on the interior.
It makes you feel all so superior.
But imagine what it’s like,
For those not alike,
People who have a home.

Picture yourself as a child seeking shelter,
With not a single guardian or protector,
Surrounded by the unknown and spectres,
For that is what it is like,
For People without a home.

Many have died,
With no one by there side,
And many will follow,
With a feeling so hollow,
For that is what it is like,
For People without a home.

Although it may seem grim,
For many’s lights are dim,
We must be the change we wish to see,
For this you are guaranteed:
If man tries his hardest,
As truth may sometimes be the oddest,
We will be the change we wish to see,
As we imagine what it’s like, for people without a home.
