what is a home?

What does home really mean? This isn’t going to be a ordinary piece of writing. For me sometimes home is on wheels. I have a very small trailer that my family and I go camping that is a home to me. For me, home is a place where I can feel safe and gather my thoughts and just slow the world down. Home is always safe for me but not for others. Some homes may be home to abuse. Abusive relationships all living under one roof. That roof is their home. For many people home is not a safe place. I am very blessed t have a home that is safe and peaceful. For some people home could be on the water, on the sand, in wheels, on a mountain. Different people different homes. The meaning of home to me is a title. Home is just a title that we ton different places. I could move all the way across the world into a “home” and it doesn’t feel like home to me. I have to have a connection of some kind of relationship to my “home”. My “home” currently is my address and at the arena but in the summer I am more connected my cottage, trailer or outdoors sometimes even in the lake. You know the saying home is where the heart is. Well, that applies some one thousand percent. So if you are in an unsafe home that is not a true home. Your home should be a place where you are truly connected. “Sometimes I have to go on a hunt looking for my home. But I know that my heart will always lead the way.”- Sarah Robertson(the writer of this.) wherever your heart leads you is your true home.
