What I Think a Home IS
To Habitat for Humanity:
A home is where you make memories to cherish when you’re old,
Everyone deserves a home, the weak and the bold.
A home provides shelter for all those stormy nights,
And even when the sun is shining super bright.
A home is where family gathers in the cozy warmth,
But there is still some people whose clothes are ripped and torn.
For these people we call poor are sitting in the winter and freezing in the cold.
Everyone should have a home, not just a house, because a home is family, and a house is just some wealth.
A home is like a puzzle and you’re the missing piece.
All homes are different; all homes are unique.
A home is a place where you can feel loved and safe,
Let me tell you now, home is the most wonderful place.
