What Home Means to Me – Safe and Warm

What Home Means to Me
Safe and Warm

Home is a place where everyone should be. It’s a place where I’m loved and cared for, a place where I can be me.

Home is a place where I feel secure and safe regardless of the weather.

Home is where all my friends and family can gather together.

It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor. We can all make a difference in this world if we try our hardest.

When I go to hockey games and I see people without a home,

Those poor people staying in bus shelters wearing blankets trying to stay warm all alone.

It makes me so sad and blue, but I know I want to help them too.

It is important to support those in need so they can all be safe and warm throughout the night.
