What Home Means To Me

To me, home is a place you can call your own,
The fact that it’s a haven, is so widely known.
A place to relax with family and friends,
And hope that the fun will never end.

A country, province, school or city,
A kind place where we barely
Are sad, depressed or feel alone,
And so we are happy in our homes

But other people may not have a home,
They don’t know what it’s like to call a place their own,
They curl up in a box, and hopefully they might,
Make it through a whole cold winter’s night.

And this is why home is important to me,
It’s a place that we take for granted, you see,
But it’s much, much more, than just a place to sleep,
It’s a place where you make many important memories.
