What Home Means to Me

Home is a feeling not a place. To me home is a special place where you feel loved and cared for. Home is a place that you feel safe and comfortable in.

Home is a place where you feel like you belong. Even though you might worry about things like money troubles, getting frostbite, food, surviving, it’s still a home. As long as you have loved ones or people that you love and who love you back, it’s still a home.

Home is where your heart belongs and where your family is. It’s filled with love and people who care most about you. Home is a feeling and not a place.

A house is a building with walls, a roof, windows and floors. But, a home is somewhere that you love and feel protected in. A home is filled with love.

After all of this, can you please tell me why, why do so many people in this world not a have homes to ‘Go Home To’? A home is a right, not a privilege.

Home means a different thing to different people. This is all about what home means to me. What does home mean to you?
