What home means to me

Home to me is one of the best things a person could ever have.
A home is different from a house. First of all, a home could be anywhere as long as you feel safe, loved, and supported by family, friends and even animals. A house is just a structure with walls, roof, and a floor that you can visually see or touch. Second of all, if you live in a house it can still be your home. As long as you feel safe, loved, and supported in your house. This is why a home is different from a house.

Not everyone has a home. Firstly, many people in the world do not have a safe place to live. They do not feel supported, and worst of all they do not have family and friends to love them. Secondly, some people are living on the streets, in the forest, or even in abandoned buildings. These people do not get good educations and struggle to find food and water. Not everyone has a home.

Your home affects everything you do. To start off, your home can affect how you act at school. For example, if you fight with a family member you could say mean things to other people, not listen to your teacher, or even get physical. Next up, your home can also affect where you go to school, and what you eat. You will most likely go to the school closest to your home and eat the foods most common in your area. This proves how your home affects everything you do.

Home has so many things to it. Without a home and a family I don’t know what I would do. This is what home means to me.
