What Home Means to Me

It’s my favourite place to be. My family is there. My cats are there. All my stuff is there. My memories are there. It’s home.

It means love. My family and cats love me, and I love them. I also love my stuff, and all the people (and animals) love their stuff, too.

It means kindness. There’s no physically or emotionally hurting people (or plants and animals, but for the cats there is an exception in case they playfully scratch or bite us) at all.Instead, we help each other.

It means peace. Same as kindness, no fighting(but for the cats there is an exception, again). Instead, we’re kind to each other.

It means comfort. When we’re all cuddling on the couch together (including the cats), we’re always comfortable. Also, we have comfort when we’re sleeping in our beds at night with or without someone cuddling us(parents, cats, etc.).

It means safety. We always feel safe at home (except sometimes in the basement).

It means fun. We play board games, run around, and do crafts.

It means laughter. When we have fun, we laugh sometimes. Also, my Dad is hilarious. What’s even more hilarious, he stops being hilarious once my Mom looks. He acts like he never even did anything! It is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so funny!

It means home.
