What Home Means to Me

What home means to me is that a home can be anything. As a house, it has to have a structure and a roof. A home can be a house, a tent, or even a sidewalk sometimes. People say “I’m going to get a house with my family” but if you have a good relationship with your family, then it’s a home. If it’s a dorm and you’ve had it for more than 2 years, it’s a home. If you don’t like your dorm, then it’s a house.
A home has to be a place you like. If you don’t like it, it can’t be a home. You have to have memories and pictures. If not, it still has a chance to become a home. Some days you hate it and some days you love it.
My home has to have my family in it, consisting of my mother, my father, and my cat and dog. I know if you’re reading this, you may or may not have a house, but you will always have a home in a place or in your heart! <3
