What Home Means to Me
A home is a place where I sleep, wake up and smell the eggs and bacon that my mother prepared for me. It is a place where I cuddle with my parents while reading my favorite book and where I walk outside and smell the fresh flowers that have sprouted over spring.
Ever heard the saying “Home is where the heart is”? It means having fun times with the family, playing with siblings or your pets, or watching the favorite TV show or movie. These are the things I love to do that give me happiness. This is where my heart belongs. My heart belongs to a home that lets me do everything that I am always excited for.
Home is the place where you invite your friends for a play date you’ve been waiting for, a place to enjoy and feel secure because you know that under this roof you have a family to protect you.
Home is a very special place for me. It takes care of me, my home protects me from danger outside. My home gives me so many fun memories like celebrating my very first birthday party. Home is not about how big or small, or how much or little it cost. It’s just about being there with the ones who most care about you and who you care about most.
Home is a special place to live in. I treasure all of the things I see from every corner of my house I am so thankful for each of them. I am thankful for this house that I call Home.
