What Home Means To Me

Home means a lot of things. Home could mean a place where you go to feel safe and protected or it could be a feeling that you get when you feel a sense of warmth and happiness.
What really is home though?
Home is different for all of us. Some of us might not feel as good at home as others. But you know it’s home when you feel it. You know there will be a family waiting for you, to make you feel happy, warm, and protected. Just because you’re not at your actual house doesn’t mean it’s not home. As long as you feel that feeling you get when you’re at home, it’s home.
That feeling you get is truly amazing.
Home to me feels all kinds of ways. I feel happy and I feel very comfortable and safe. I feel that I could stay there forever, and I won’t feel bothered, unhappy or unsafe. It’s a feeling no one can really explain.
Through thick and thin, big and small, sadness and happiness, home will be there waiting for you. Waiting to make you feel happy and protected.
But for some of us home isn’t always like that. Home could be a place where you are sad, unsafe, and you could feel unprotected. But that’s okay. Because no matter how much happens, in the end, the feeling of home will always come back. You may feel it will be like that forever, but trust me, one day you’ll feel at home as well.
Home is place you go to at the end of a long day to relax, forget about life, and spend time with your loved ones. You go there to feel loved again,
safe again,
happy again,
and to feel at
home again.
