What Home Means To Me

What Home
Means to Me

Home isn’t just a place with walls, it is a place that you feel safe loved and cared for. It is a place that after a long day you can plop down on the couch with a cozy blanket to rest.
Home is a place that everyday you can pick out your clothes for school. Home is a place where your mom can make you the best pancakes for breakfast. Home is a place where you can crouch by the fireplace on Christmas eve with a cup of hot chocolate and marshmallows. Home is a place that you can watch your favourite movies with your family.
Home is a place that makes you smile with happiness! Home is a place that on the weekend you can sleep in for as long as you want. Home is a place that has a roof and it keeps you safe when there is a big storm. Home is a place where you can smell the dinner that your dad is cooking. Home is a place that has fun toys for you to play with. Home is a place that you can always trust.

Just think about it. Every single one of you should think about the homeless before you think about getting mad at your parents for not getting you what you want. Because remember, that there are other people in the world that don’t have what you have. So, be thankful for what you have.
