What Home Means to Me
Home, home my favorite place,
Where I could read at my own pace.
I could swing on my swings,
Now I can play with rings,
Oh, how I wish I were at my favorite place.
Help, help it’s been a week,
I miss my dear, old sweet creek.
My parents told me to be tough,
But I think I’m going to bluff.
Please help me because I feel weak.
Today my parents came and talked to me,
But it was not nearly as bad as it could be.
They told me it isn’t the house it’s the people,
And I decided to take a very big “leaple.”
To me, home is where you stay with your family!
