What home means to me.

What is a home?
Is it just a roof over your head?
Just a building you live in?
No, it’s so much more than that.
It’s a place where you feel safe.
A place where you feel free.
It’s where you can go after a hard day.

A place of comfort.
A place of peace.
A place where you can rest.
It’s where I go when I am feeling down.
And I always know it will cheer me up.
Its free of worry.
And it’s free of strife.

My home is a haven.
It is a sanctuary.
It’s where I never feel pressured.
It’s where I am never stressed,
Where I am never scared,
Where I am never worried.
And that is what home means to me.
