What Home Means to Me

Home to me is a place of safety, respect, and caring. We ask, “how was your day?” and if it looks like there’s something wrong, we ask, “are you ok?” and we listen to each other and what we have to say not disrespectfully but with respect. We do not judge others on their appearance or of how they may act sometimes. Home is a place to feel safe knowing that it’s just you and your loved ones that surround you. We treat others with respect and do not bring anyone down or say anything mean even if we are having a bad day. We all help each other if they are struggling to get something done or need help figuring out a question or how to do something. In conclusion home to me is a safe place to let loose knowing that there is always someone to care for you.
