What Home Means To Me

What My Home Means To Me
By Annabelle Elizabeth Lanthier
A home doesn’t have to be a place where you enjoy yourself.
This is what home means to me.
My home is where I feel safe.
Home is where I feel joy.
Home is where my family and friends are.
My home is where I feel comfortable and protected.
My home is where I feel wanted and important.
My home is where I can do what I like to do.
I can do what I want when I want.
My home is where I make memories.
Lots of memories.
Happy memories, like when I found I was going to Walt Disney World with my family.
Sad memories, like when my favorite TV show got canceled.
Scared memories, like when the power went out and I was terrified.
My home is where I make my dreams come true.
