What Home Means to Me
A place to be appreciated,
Loved for who we are,
A place to make our dreams come true,
A place to be happy,
A place to be you.
Somewhere to hug your loved ones,
Somewhere to talk to someone you know.
Share your thoughts and feelings.
Somewhere to hug your guardians,
Or love them to the moon and back
In these four walls,
And a roof,
There’s not only a floor and furniture.
There’s a happy family.
If I didn’t have a home,
My happiness would turn blue.
When I think about homelessness,
I put myself in someone else’s shoes.
It makes me shiver and tingle.
Sometimes I feel, they don’t have the right to do things we do.
I WISH EVERYONE HAD A HOME.
