What Home Means To Me
Home means being loved and cared for. My family is so kind and caring for each other, and we love everyone no matter what. All of my family attends fun events like holidays. Home is also where I feel safe with the people I love. It is where I give and get help. Home is so special to me, it is my favorite place on earth.
Home is the sight of my family and I playing Uno after a big bowl of Kraft Dinner for supper. I hear us laughing and having lots of fun together. I smell the popcorn in the microwave for a late Friday night movie. I feel the slippers underneath my feet and the plastic-like playing cards in my hand. After playing Uno, and my little brother wins, we all go down stairs to watch a movie on our huge T.V. As it starts, I taste the buttery popcorn on my joyful taste buds. While my family finishes the popcorn, my mom is fast asleep as always.
Home is when I walk through the door on a cold winter day, and my mom gives me the most gigantic bear hug ever! Then when my dad gets home, he does the same. It is where I am loved and cared for. Home is where all of the fun is, and we mostly laugh
I have the right to have a family and home in my life and I will enjoy every moment. I love my family so much, I really don’t know what I would do without them.
Home is where my brother and I watch Teen Titans and Spongebob every morning together. Home is where I am making cookies with my mom and building something with my dad. Home is where my family and I go skiing outside when it is –32°C outside. It is where I go canoeing and kayaking every summer. I love my family to the moon and back!
