What Home Means to me

What home means to me

When I think of home I feel safe and I feel loved. When I’m home I know that’s where me and my family live, with a roof and a place to sleep. I cant imagine what it would be like without a home. When I’m in my house I feel thankful I feel warm and cool whenever I want, I feel calm on my couch and I feel relaxed because I know any journey I have when the day is done I come home to were it is safe. I have no worries or problems to deal with there. I can choose if I want to be inside or outside I have a choice, I can look out my window and I can feel what it would be like if I had no home, I’m not sure I would feel anything in the cold. When I come home from a long day of school I know that when I come home a have a warm safe home to come to a loving home a peaceful home. Home means so much to me, if I had no place to go to I’m sure we wouldn’t survive long with my animals my family my art. I wouldn’t have anywhere to express my feeling on paper. My body would shut down, like the person my mom and I had to pick up and drive her to her house because she was frozen and hoping to get to the city. I’m not sure what I would do if I had to walk home in socks and sandals in the cold. If I was homeless I would feel miserable and stressful I wouldn’t feel important. home is the one place I can call home it’s the one place I can live in peace.
