What Home Means to Me

What Home Means to Me

To me home means a safe and special place—a place that everyone needs to have. You should feel happy, sad, angry, exited, and comfortable in your home. But most of all, you should feel welcomed. A home is a place to make and share memories, new and old. Lots of the time a person’s home will change. You might have to move or even give up your home. That will always be a sad time, but the more time you spend in your new house the more it will turn into your new home. Sadly enough, some people don’t have a home, a safe place to be with family, share emotions, and feel welcomed. Instead, they have to live in shelters or even on the streets. They might not even remember what it feels like to have a home. They don’t have a place to feel happy. Hopefully, someday, they will be able to feel what home feels like again. Everyone should have a safe, happy, comfortable, and welcoming place to share with family and friends.
