What Home Means to Me

The feeling of warm love is what I hold dear.
The feeling of my hands on my pets.
The warm shower every night before bed.
My home is where I have fun with my friends.

The sound of music when I’m lying down to sleep,
And waking up to laughter when I sleep in on the weekends.
I go under my blanket to get warm at night.
My home is the one place I can go to sleep with no worries in the world.

Seeing the clear night sky with stars outside in my back yard.
My room is where I put my emotions.
I have a good and loving family, which keeps me strong.
My home is the one place in the whole entire world where I can trust.

My home smells like hot food.
And BBQ steak in the summertime.
Family meals where we laugh and share.
My home is the place where I can go eat if my belly is ever hungry.

My home is where my loving family rests, laughs and plays.
I am free to do anything in my home.
I practice my martial arts and try to stay off Santa’s naughty list.
My home is one of the most important things in the world to me.

That’s what my home means to me.
