What Home Means to Me
What home means to me?
Home is where me and my family stay.
We fight and I pray. Home is where my room is, I might share it but that’s all right.
My parents always tell me good night.
Home is where I remember my dad, he left but I wasn’t glad. When I’m sad my siblings can make me glad.
Home is where when I wake up sometimes there’s a cup of hot chocolate to help me get up. Home where I wake up for the bus so I won’t be late, because that would not be great.
If I didn’t have a home I’ll be awfully sad.
I don’t think I’d ever be able to be glad. If I didn’t have a home I miss the feeling when you get home and everything is alright you’re never alone. If I didn’t have a home, the thing that I would miss most is that when you’re not there you’re always missed. Sometimes you can act like the class clown, sometimes you just frown, but sometimes most of all you’re always home safe from all.
I will always need my home no matter where I go.
If I didn’t have a home on a cold night, no one would tell me goodnight.
That is what my home means to me.
