What Home Means to Me
WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME
Home is a place of laughter, love and safety . Home is when I open my door and see my dog and Mom and my sister waiting for me at the door. Home is a place where you can sleep, eat and play. Home is a place to be cozy.
1 in 8 Canadian households do not have a safe decent affordable place to call home. Some people call home a tent or a sidewalk. That is why home means so much to me. I’m lucky to be able to have a home.
Home to me is not a fancy house or a mansion. It does not have to be a big home. It doesn’t have to have a big backyard or a big garage full of cars or quads and bikes. Mine is an average-sized home, but it is full of love and memories. That is what home means to me.
