What a Home Means to Me
Google what a home is. It’s wrong. A home is not a place where you live permanently, it is a place where your loved ones are. In a home, you can be who you are without being judged. A home is where you are loved and accepted. However, sometime home isn’t where the heart is. In some homes, a member of the family will be shunned. That is because they aren’t who their parents or guardians want them to be or another reason like that. Then, that place is not a home. It was just a house. A house is not a home. A house is just a wooden structure with insulation. A real home is the place where you can be yourself. A home is a place… wait, it doesn’t even have to be a place. It can be a person. A human home is a person who makes you feel safe and secure, and you feel better when they wrap you up in their arms and tell you that you’re not alone. They will always be with you, no matter what. In short, a home can be anywhere or anyone.
