There’s a feeling in my home
There’s a feeling in my home, that all families know
the feeling of happiness, bright flashing lights that stand by as we grow.
Outside we make friends, and by the passing days we make amends,
but in the end, home is where we feel safe.
When all else has discouraged me, when others have turned away, my home still remains. A twilight star in a dim sky. My home blows me back afloat, and I pick myself up again.
I look above, the sky is blue, I wouldn’t wake up if it wasn’t for you,
my home, and the memories it holds, ones that will stay in my head when I grow old.
