For me, home is the rink. A place where I laugh,a place where I am happy and comfortable. Where no one can laugh at me or make fun of me. When I am at the rink I feel like that’s where I belong, like I was made to be on this planet to play one thing, hockey. When I step on to that ice, my heart beats about 50 times faster. I get in this zone where all I think about is what can I can do better the next shift. I think of how I can become a better human being off and on the ice.
