The Meaning of Home

People always ask me, what’s a difference between a house and a home? A house is just simply a shelter, a dwelling, a building. It is just four walls and a roof. A house is just a place where you sleep, eat and live through the days. But, a home means lots of things to different people.

To me, home means a lot of things. It’s a where you keep all of your memories. It’s a place where you can cry or laugh whenever you want. You can show your true feelings there. Sometimes, when you’re having a bad, you know there’ll be someone at home that will give you a hug, and tell you:” It’s gonna be okay.”

Home is a magical place. It’s where I draw my memories and create amazing arts! It’s where I turn my feelings into music and play it to other people. I can spend my whole day in my mini library and bury myself under stories. For me, everything is possible as long as I am home.

That’s what home means to me. If you ask me what’s a difference between a house and a home, I’ll tell you:” The difference between them is a home can be in any house, but not every house is a home.”
