The Meaning of Home

A home could mean many different things to many different people. It could be an enjoyable, happy place where you can live, laugh and learn. It is somewhere where you are loved, respected, and cared for. A house is extremely beneficial for all human beings to be safe for these various reasons: A place to sleep at night, keeps all of your important belongings safe and organized, and is a safe place to live and raise a family and you feel warm, cozy and comfortable. The meaning of a home is certainly important to me, so it must be for the people who struggle in life.

An extreme amount of people will say “ You have such a beautiful house, your family must be super happy”. That is not a true statement because It does not matter how beautiful the house is, it depends on how much a family loves and cares for each other. The true meaning of an amazing home is a loving family. A house is just four walls and a roof, but a home is made up of everything else inside. A house may be decorated from floor to ceiling with the most beautiful decorations money can buy. That will never ever make it a home. A home is a place where you feel loved, cared for, happy and cheerful.

My family has a loving home, but now it is my time to show some love in Ontario and show my support to construct more homes! Let’s give more loving families that are less fortunate an opportunity to feel safe. Let’s provide families with a sacred place to love one another. I know how grateful I am for my home, but imagine how grateful these families will be. We can make an amazing difference in their lives!
