The Meaning of Home
A home is a place you can be safe in. A home doesn’t need to be the place you live in. For instanse, you can live in a place and not feel “at home” in it. And you can feel “at home” in a place you don’t live in.
There is a saying: Be it ever so huble, there is no place like home. That means if someone lives in a small house with nothing in it, that doesn’t matter: it’s still home. A Homeless might feel more at home in the street than in a shelter. Just because you have a house doesn’t mean you have a home. There’s a difference.
