The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home
By Caitlyn Reba

Home.
A place that you can stay.

If you’re in danger.

When you’re home, you feel safe.

Home is more than just a place where you can just sit and rest.

Home is where you live.

Where people care for you.

When I think of home, I think of my bed where I sleep. The dinner table where I eat.

If I did not have a home, my life would be so different.

My home has memories.

Memories that can make you laugh.

Sometimes I think of people that don’t have a home and that are poor.

I am so fortunate to have a home.

When I come home to see my parents I don’t feel anything but happiness.

I would miss hearing “How are you, sweetie?’’ When I come home.

Home is where I am loved and where I feel special.

When I say to myself ‘’Home”, I think of a good place, not a bad one.

But when I see people on the street that don’t have a home, I feel sad.

I love home.

Home is the most important thing to me.
