The Meaning Of Home

When I hear the word home I always think of how families come in different shapes and sizes. Also with a home. A home can have broken windows or a crooked chimney and door but it will always feel like home. It may be big, small or in between, you will always be welcome. It doesn’t even need to be a house. You can feel at home at school, work, a store, a friends house and much more. Sometimes it’s not a building. Maybe it’s your bed, a stuffy, a park. It doesn’t really matter as long as you are happy. I always feel at home when i’m with the things I love the most. Like my family, my friends, and eating my favourite foods. A home to me is where you can be happy, loved, safe and welcome. And it doesn’t matter what it looks like or where it is, as long as you call it home.
