Nobody’s Home is the Same

Nobody’s Home is the Same

All you ever hear is,” home is the best, I love my home, I feel safe and loved in my home”, but nobody ever says how it is for the unfortunate. I’m not saying that this is how it is in my house, but in some families it is like what I’m about to say. Ok, let’s get this out there, some people can’t say the truth so they lie about how it is for them in their home, so they say that they feel safe and loved in their house, but really they may feel hated and unsafe in their own home. I can’t even imagine how much it must hurt to lie about how they feel in their own home because they’re afraid of the truth getting out there.
For me home is a lot of things, good and bad, and I’m not going to deny that. Home for me can be my happy place where I will always fit in, but it can also be my angry place and a place were I’m scared because of my brother but, in all—nobody’s house is the same.
