My Meaning of a Home

A home is not a house.

A home is not an ordinary building.

A home is a home, and it is for loving and caring.

In a home, you are supposed to feel, loved, safe, accepted, and trusted.

A home is not a house because, in a house, you don’t get any of the feelings you do in a home.

A home is like a safe. You trust it, it protects you and your stuff, but most importantly, it’s really hard to get into, unless you know how to.

A home is a place for you, your family, your pets, and friends. You can express all your feelings. You don’t have to be around anyone, you can be alone, where you feel like no one is listening, and you have privacy.

When you step into a home, there is a list of things you can feel, just like… You have privacy, you are safe, you are loved, you are cared for, you are trusted, you are thankful, you are happy, and it is your safe place.

Now that’s not even half of the things you could feel when you step into a home. You may not believe me, but it’s true.

A home is not a house.

A home is not an ordinary building.

A home is a home, and it is for you and your family.
