My house is a home

I’m lying down on soft pillows And wearing comfy clothes.
Waking up to sunshine or rain, I don’t complain because I have a roof over my head.

In the bath I have warm water going on my face, some people don’t have running water, Sometimes it’s how much water we waste.

Jumping on the sofa to watch TV, to smile and laugh, and maybe go to the kitchen to get a snack.

Going outside to feel winter, summer, fall or spring air then maybe go to the park next door, swinging on the swings up and down, then maybe feeling dizzy falling to the ground.

Eating dinner with family and friends, I don’t think happiness will ever end. Then giving hugs to my Mom and Dad before bed. Then I rest my head in my cozy bed.

Sometimes, we don’t realize how lucky we are to have a bed, food, and a car, and some people’s lives are very hard. Appreciate what you have, because your parents will be glad.

A home is a place you should be safe
