My home

My home

Getting through the door from school and telling my Mom about my day,
She’ll listen and then ask my sister about her’s.
Then I’ll get up and get ready to compete in swimming
The feel of the water I find thrilling,
and when i’m done my race she’ll ask me how i did, and when i get home i realize how lucky i am to have a home a place to call my own, i can only dream how hard it must to not have a home i think we should all have a place to call home a place of our own. Somewhere to roam, somewhere to rest your head on a cozy bed, somewhere to be fed. A place to feel safe.
