To me, home is a safe place to be,
whether in your country of origin, or refugee.
Home is a place where food is a plenty.
Where everything that everyone says is complimentary.
Home is a place where you are encouraged to play,
where you have people who will listen to what
you say, at every single time of every single day.
Home is a place where you can see the light,
a place where family can reunite.
I don’t think having a home is anything physical,
more as just a place where nothing that anybody says
is EVER critical.
One of those things might just be the word disgrace,
and no real home has ever voiced this word,
no matter what gender, or race
