My Happy Home

My home.
My happy home.

Sometimes I forget.
I forget how lucky I am to have a home.
They come in different shapes and sizes.
From tiny squares to big wide domes.

But it is not the size of the house that makes it grand,
The memories and family are the things that really stand.

It may not be the biggest, but I am grateful still.
That I am safe and healthy, not on the streets and ill.

The warmth.
The roof.
The happiness.
They all come with a home.
Even if it’s in Africa, or on the border of Rome.

For in my home,
Our memories we make.
Happy and sad, new and old.

Everyone needs a home like mine,
where happiness and memories become so divine

The thing that makes a home bright is happiness.
Not lights, not the size, not the quality.
The thing that makes a home bright is happiness and family.

I am grateful for my home,

My happy home.

My Happy Home part 2
By: Sophie hunt

My home is special
My home is bright
And when I’m scared or anxious,
My family’s there to comfort me at night.

My home, my lovely home

But what makes my house so special?
What makes my home so nice,
Is the happiness within my family’s hearts.
It’s nothing that precise.

My home, my lovely home

Our family makes our memories,
In this very house,
Its loud when we’re awake, but at night?
It is quiet as a mouse.

My home, my lovely home

Everyone needs a home like mine,
Where family and memories can shine, shine, shine.

Everyone deserves a home like mine,
A comfortable place can be so divine

I am grateful for my home.
