Meaning of Home Essay

Someone once said, “home isn’t a place it’s a feeling.” Even if homes and houses are both buildings, a home is many things a house isn’t, and it’s too bad that some people don’t have it. Furthermore, homes are houses turned into a place for family and friends to gather and make unforgettable memories.

A home is much more than a place to sleep and eat. It’s a place you feel cherished for being yourself without judgement. Also, memories are made in homes. In fact, it’s probably where you took your first steps and ate your first solid food. All of those are memories to be remembered forever. When you think of a house, you should think about a home.

Have you ever realized how lucky you are to have a place you can call home? A home is where family is, hearts are, where people grow, and where friends gather. Although people everywhere are homeless, we still get caught up with what we want when they require homes. Always remember that you should be thankful for what you have in life, and not focus on the negatives.

Shelter is a human right, yet some people still feel like it’s a golden luxury. A house or a home are not luxuries -they’re a necessity. The people on the street deserve a home. A place where it’s warm, a place they feel secure, a place they can call their own. Although lots of people in Canada have a home, a significant number of our population doesn’t. Do you agree that a house should be a human right?

In conclusion, to have a house is awesome, but to have a home is astounding. A home is the best feeling ever. Everyone should feel it. No one should be left out.
