Meaning of Home

My home means alot to me because it keeps me safe, cool and warm whether it’s cold or hot. Some people don’t have a place to stay, but by people across Canada writing a poem or an essay by what home means to them, Habitat For Humanity Canada will be receiving $10 for every student who submits a poem or an essay.

A home is a place to keep people comfortable and safe where you have your very own space, to bond with family and friends and to grow life into. I’m super grateful to have a home to live in where me and my family can make lots of memories.

I feel comfortable when I’m home because it has everything we need to feel comfortable such as beds, our very own space etc. I love my home because it makes me feel safe and that I can bond with my family and friends.

I’m also super grateful to have a home because I have privacy, it keeps me safe, I have my very own space, it keeps me warm or cool depending on the weather. I’m very happy to be where I am today.

We can all make a change by writing a poem or an essay to what home means to you. I’m writing this essay today because I want to help people out there who don’t have a home to stay safe and to grow out of and to make memories.
