“Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts”
-Oliver Wendell Holmes

The meaning of home is different for everyone but the people whom I live with make my home unique and special. A house is a building for human habitation, especially one that is lived in by a family or small group of people.

Home for me is where you have support and love. You feel safe and protected. Lots of people do not have that. They do not have the structure or the support. Sometimes when I feel down because I want something and I can’t have it, I remind myself that lots of people do not have anything. I feel thankful that I have both, my family and a home.

No need to think that you are alone because everyone you care for will be there to help you. So never give up, people will always be by your side. I hope that homeless people will get a home. Some people do not understand the difference between a house and a home, my writing is trying to help people know the meaning of home. My hope is that everyone would have a home and there would no longer be homelessness.

Like I said in the beginning, home is a special place. It is like if you leave to a beautiful place and you come home, it may be a little smaller maybe a little messy but your home has love and family. I hope lots of people get homes this year.
