Meaning of home

So today I am going to tell you a little story. So, when I moved to Vancouver Island, I could not bring my dog over because my family and I were living in a motel. Dogs of course were not allowed so he had to stay with my grandparents. My dog loves it there though, but I still missed him so much. Two weeks passed and now it was time to look for new house. We looked at like ten houses before we put an offer on one. They declined so then my parents decided to build a house. So, my family had to move in to a rental house for seven months. I think two weeks passed without my dog. Then the next day he was coming over with my grandparents I was so excited. It was finally time to see his cute little face, it felt like two hundred hours. They were finally in are drive way. My family and I ran outside as fast as we could. He jumped out of the car trunk and ran too me. He just waged his tail for as long as I can remember. He was so excited to be home. It was then that I realized that home is not a place, it is somewhere where your family is, a place filled with people that love you, that care for you. Home is family.
