Meaning of home

“What I love most about home is who I share it with”-Tad Carpenter. I think home has a deeper meaning to it. As the quote said, “What I love most about home is who I share it with”. When I think of home I think of family who I share it with, shelter that protects me and safety so that the cold weather stays out.

When I think of home I think of a family that loves and takes care of me. My family has food to help us survive when it is cold outside. My family has friends that we can get together with and have fun. Our family is where I feel loved and cared about. These are reasons why family makes me think of home.

When I think of home I think of shelter. When I think of shelter I think of protection from the bad weather. My shelter has a cozy place like my bedroom and our couches. My shelter has the warmth of our family, bed and the warmth of being safe. These are the reasons why shelter makes me think of home.

I also think of safety for my home. My safety is my bed where I can be warm and safe. My home is also safe because my parents are there to watch out for me. The safety of my home is friends that watch and take care of me. These are reasons why safety makes me think of home.

My home is a safe place with family and friends. My shelter is a place where I am warm and cozy. My family is there for me and I feel loved when I am by them.
