Meaning of Home

Some people say that a home is a shelter and a place where you’re safe. It’s wifi, video games, furniture and books. But to me, home is my family.

Homesick, homesick is a feeling . A feeling when you’re so sad and you think you miss your home. The truth is you can’t be homesick when you’re with your family because your family is your true home. I think when people say that and
they feel that they don’t really miss their house they miss the memories. They miss all the memories they made at their home.

Sometimes I think Homes are like giant scrapbooks full of memories. They carry all memories even ones from before me.
Homes have seen the memories of the indigenous people who roamed the land before me, maybe they have even seen war.

Everyone has a home and that’s what people make memories in.
But they are also where families live. Where you’re with the ones you love and the ones that love you.

Someday’s when I think of a home, I think of a place
where I have a roof over my head and walls around me but then I
realize that’s a house. I think some people who don’t
have a house think they don’t have a Home.

They probably think that they want what other people have
a home. But what they don’t realize is that they already have a home. Their home is their family. I wish everyone realized that.

So I hope whoever reads this realizes that. I could be anywhere in the world and as long as I was with my family I would be home.
