Meaning of Home
Home to me is not just a place where you watch television, eat food, go to bed, and play games now and then. It is much more. Home is a place where baby’s take their first step in. Home is a place where you can go to your loved ones for comfort when you’re sad. Home is a place where you can feel extremely loved, because that is true. Your home loves you. I’m not saying that your house loves you. Your home is the one that loves you. Your home is made up of your family, emotions, memories, and happy times.
I think everyone is welcome in a home, it does not matter their gender, skin color, sexuality, or anything. A home is a home that accepts everybody. Everyone who comes through the door to your house will receive a warm, comforting, loving welcome no matter who they are.
Memories are kept within your home, whether it is playing games to having a cook off in your kitchen. These memories are kept in your heart forever. It isn´t in a picture frame memories are held, your home holds them in your heart for as long as you live.
You are one part of your home. Your mom is the part of your home that you can go to for comfort. Your dad is the part of your home that can make you laugh in the hardest of times. Your sister is the part of your home that will make you feel better when you are sick. She will encourage the life out of you to get up and play with her. Your baby brother is there to pull on your hair when you won’t turn on his favorite show. He will make you chase him till the day is over. Your home is made up of your family. Your home will be the one to comfort you when you come home from a stressful day at school or at work.
Everybody is one part of your home. Make sure that you take care of your home and your home will take care of you. Your ancestors have passed a home all the way down to you, and now it is your responsibility to care for your home , and give it the love it needs. Home is the most inspiring place in the world. It inspires you to show your talents and greatness. This is what home means to me.
