HomeWhat home means to me

Home: What it means to me

Home is a place to call my space,
A place where I can be me,
Home is a place to call your space,
A place where I like to be

Yes, home can be a place to eat delicious food and take warm baths and sleep in a cozy bed, but what about the meaning of home? Here is my meaning of home. I wake up to a brother, sister, dad, and mom who love me just the way I am. At home, I don’t have to feel insecure about things that are going on in the outside world. I don’t have to feel judged at home because my family already loves me for who I am.

There are also other things that make my home, home. We make amazing memories. Memories are everything to me. We always would laugh at my sister for always losing money when she had the most in a game of monopoly. We would always play football and laugh at how many times I fell trying to run and get the ball. There are also memories when I make mistakes, ( we all remember that timeout chair now don’t we.), but we live and learn. Home is a place where I can be myself, have fun, and just being with family makes the world right-side-up again. I feel very bad for people with no place to live or don’t have their family with them. I hope that they find their home soon.
